Daily writing practice – leveraging knowledge and skills to help the wider business

Writing is the core skill I’ve built my career around. However, it’s easily swallowed by the rush and noise of other jobs and responsibilities.

Which is a weakness because I do believe communicating clearly via written words is a superpower that reaches far beyond the point in time taken to create it, or even beyond the creator’s existence.

For my day job I work in the Digital Content Team and historically writing articles and guides is the way we’ve been able to leverage our small resources for a greater impact across the business.

So, I’ve blocked out the first hour of my work day to write something.

Whether it’s a guide, a brief or something else.

The goal is to just write something that can help the team in the future.

I’ll post an update once I’ve given it a go.
