Starting a YouTube channel has been on my mind for a number of years.
And now I’ve started.
Here’s the introduction video:
I’m a writer by trade and so speaking on camera feels awkward. However, I see the value in being able to speak on camera and present ideas in this way.
Although I write case studies and guides, they take a long time to produce which means they’re few and far between. However, if I have the skill to switch on the camera, share my screen and talk through a project then that seems a positive step.
In addition.
YouTube is one of the platforms I visit a lot. I enjoy learning from the YouTube community, and it would be great to be more involved by running my own channel.
Plus my daughter was thrilled at the idea of Daddy being a YouTuber, so it would be nice to make her proud too 🙂
